Wednesday Woody

A nun gets into a cab and the cab driver won't stop staring at her. She asks him why is he staring and he replies, "I have a question to ask you but I don't want to offend you."

She answers, "My dear son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance and see and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive."

"Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun perform oral sex on me."

She responds, "Well, let's see what we can do about that: 1) you have to be single and 2) you must be Catholic."

The cab driver is very excited and says, "Yes, I am single and I'm Catholic too!"

The nun says, "O.K., pull into the next alley."

He does and the nun fulfills his fantasy. But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying his eyes out. "My dear child, why are you crying?"

"Forgive me sister, but I have sinned. I lied, I must confess, I'm married and I'm Jewish."

The nun says, "That's OK, my name is Kevin and I'm on my way to a Halloween Party."

Family Kept Hostage's Homosexuality Quiet
Fears that James Loney's Iraqi captors might harm the peace activist if they knew he was gay forced his partner to remain silent as his loved ones called for an end to the hostage ordeal, Christian Peacemaker Teams co-director Doug Pritchard said Monday.

James Loney.

During his four months of captivity, Loney's sexuality was kept out of the media spotlight at the request of his family, said Pritchard.

"It's a sad fact that around the world gays and lesbians are more vulnerable to attack than straights," Pritchard said.

"When Jim was already in a vulnerable position we didn't, nor did his family, want him exposed to further danger."

On Sunday, Loney's return home was marked by an emotional welcome at Toronto's Pearson International Airport attended by friends, family and his partner, Dan Hunt.

While family members made appeals for Loney's release during his hostage ordeal, the homecoming marked the first time Hunt appeared before the media.

"It probably would not have been helpful" if Hunt had made a public plea during Loney's time in captivity, Pritchard said.

In 2001, Amnesty International reported that Iraq's constitution was amended to make homosexuality a crime punishable by death.

Although the constitution reverted back to the original 1969 document when Saddam Hussein's regime was toppled in 2003, the status of gay and lesbian rights remain unclear in the war-torn country.

'Quarter of young gay men in Northern Ireland have attempted suicide'
Nearly two thirds considered killing themselves and 30% self harmed, a survey disclosed.

The scale of the hidden emotional torment among non-heterosexual men, aged under 25, emerged in findings in advance of a major national conference in Belfast which will consider calls on the British Government to fund training and resources on different sexual orientations to all professionals working with young people, including teachers, youth workers and health and social services staff.
Click here to find out more!

Three years of research among 190 young men which was carried out by the Rainbow Project revealed one third were diagnosed as having a mental illness at some time in their lives with almost as many having had a potential psychiatric disorder.

A quarter had attempted suicide; over two thirds thought about taking their own lives while four out of five who had suicidal thoughts indicated they were related to same sex attraction.

Among the key factors which contributed to suicidal thoughts and self harm were homonegative experiences in school, bullying, homophobia from other pupils and neighbours.

According to the survey, different factors which affected their mental health were:

:: Difficulties in accepting their sexuality

:: A shortage of people who understood what they were going through

:: Homophobia at home, within society and at schools, even among teaching staff.

:: Loneliness and isolation.

Some Gay Couples Adopt to Molest, State Rep Says

UNREAL
Rep. Debra Maggart, R-Hendersonville, said she still believes homosexual couples should not be allowed to adopt children. In fact, in addition to e-mail correspondence with a master’s student at Vanderbilt publicized recently, in which she said as much, she has also said homosexual couples may molest the children they adopt.
"We also have seen evidence that homosexual couples prey on young males and have, in some instances, adopted them in order to have unfretted access to subject them to a life of molestation and sexual abuse," she said.

“In all cases to paint with a broad brush strokes is unfortunate,” said adoptive parent Dr. Christopher Harris.

Harris is a pediatrician by day and a single gay adoptive parent by night.

“She brings such joy into my life,” he said. “It's always said pediatrician doesn’t finished his training till he or she has a kid.”

Harris fits every requirement for the state's definition of a good adoptive parent: loving, healthy and financially stable. He is also gay, and for Maggert, that means he's unqualified.

“I have strong convictions. I just feel kids in our foster have been through enough. They need the optimum family unit, and that is a mother and a father," she said.

In the e-mail with the Vanderbilt student, Maggart said research shows most homosexual couples have numerous emotional dysfunctions and psychological issues that may not be healthy for children.

A lot of debate has circled around the evidence on whether gay adoptions are good for kids.

Harris said a career in pediatrics has shown children of gay and lesbian parents turn out just fine.

Maggert said it's just the opposite, and the research she's read comes from a variety of sources, including the ACLU and Focus on the Family, a Christian group.

The gay adoption bill is still in the House committee on children and family affairs and has several more steps before lawmakers can take a vote.

Clean that house boys

Doing spring cleaning...> these helpfull recipes will help and cut down on your budget.

Cleaning and deodorizing a drain: Pour 1 cup baking soda into your drain. Slowly drip warm water into the drain.

Cleaning out a slow drain: Pour 1 cup baking soda into your drain. Slowly pour 1 cup vinegar after it (it will fizz); cover the drain and let it stand for 5 minutes, then follow with 1 gallon of boiling water.

Cleaner for windows and mirrors: Mix 4 parts water, 4 parts rubbing alcohol, and 1 part ammonia. Clean as you would with a commercial window cleaner.

Strong all-purpose countertop cleaner: Two cups of warm water with 1 tablespoon liquid laundry detergent (see above links) and 1 tablespoon ammonia.

Random acts of crotch grabbing

The art of crotch grabbing. This important regional affectation needs to be carefully addressed. You don't want to look like Michael Jackson when grabbing your crotch

"Hey, I got your brandie-new tires right here!"

Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Michael Jackson: *Giggles* Why do I grab my crotch?

Oprah: You've got a thing with your crotch going on there.

Michael: I think it happens subliminally. When you're dancing, you know you are just interpreting the music and the sounds and the accompaniment if there's a driving base, if there's a cello, if there's a string, you become the emotion of what that sound is, so if I'm doing a movement and I go BAM and I grab myself. it's... it's the music that compels me to do it, it's not saying that I'm dying to grab down there and it's not in a great place you don't think about it, it just happens, sometimes I'll look back at the footage and I go ... and I go did I do that, so I'm a slave to the rhythm, yeah, okay.

Speedo Sunday

Brad, a local beachgoer, simply couldn’t make time with any of the girls. So he headed over to the lifeguard tower to see if the lifeguard had any advice for him.

“Dude, it’s obvious,” said the lifeguard. “You’re wearing those gnarly old swimming trunks that make you look like an old geezer. They’re years outta style. Your best bet is to get yourself a Speedo—say, two sizes too small—and drop a potato inside it. You’ll have all the babes you can handle.”

The following weekend, Brad hits the beach with his brand-spanking-new tight Speedo and his potato, and it’s not long before he approaches the lifeguard tower once more.

“For cryin’ out loud,“ said Brad, “it’s worse than before! Everyone on the beach acts disgusted as I walk by—covering their faces, turning away, laughing! What’s wrong now?”

“Jeez!” said the lifeguard, “The potato goes in front!”

Jake Gyllenhaal was once arrested for stealing a pair of Speedos.

Gaydar

According to the BBC, a study by the Philadelphia's Monell Chemical Senses Center, published in the Journal of Psychological Science found that "gay men were found to be particularly good at detecting the scent of other gay men". If this proves true, it could provide the beginnings of some level of credibility for the concept of "gaydar".

Moreover, William Lee Adams, an undergraduate at Harvard College, recently conducted a study on gaydar for his senior thesis. The process included showing neck-up pictures and videos, without any jewelry or makeup, to homosexual men and women and heterosexuals. It was a single-blind study, inasmuch as the volunteers did not know the purpose of the study until after the process had been taken place. The results portrayed gay men and gay women as having a higher tendency than straight people to correctly identify homosexuals (they also were able to identify sexuality quicker in an average time of two seconds). However, gay men were more easily recognizable than gay women. It was hypothesised that this was because of their more visible niche in the media.
Press Gaydar at top for your gaydar test.
This is what I got My Gaydar must of been off tonight
You personally got 12 of the 20 people correct and were better at recognizing guys than girls. Overall, you guessed better than 29% of all test takers.

Artificial Retractable Foreskin

For the man who feels he has been cheated.

When worn, the SenSlip will provide immediate protection.
Irritation or friction to the penis will cease, and the surface
of the glans and any remaining foreskin on the penile shaft
will slowly become dekeratinized.

Over the course of a few weeks the glans will become
more sensitive to touch and feel. This in turn should lead
to more pleasurable sexual responses for you, or for you
and your partner whilst engaging in sexual activity.

Here's a strange one

Without forward admittance, the public washroom is a venue most likely to affect every user of every age group and every gender. It is a shared space that is scarce in design and efficiency, and one exceptionally demanding on functional performance. The Uni-p is a product of duality, giving a new solution for public use. Designed as a formal balance for both male and female users, it addresses issues of cleanliness and maintenance within technological limitations and ergonomic feasibility. Uni-p provides for two types of usable positions within a single object, the upright (male) and semi-upright sitting (female) position. With a sanitary ware that serves both genders specifically, the Uni-p is one of practical minimalist – achieving maximum use with minimal material.

Happy St. Patrick's Gay

On St. Patrick's Day, which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. Lenten prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived and people would dance, drink, and feast—on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage.

MORE FIJI GAY ARRESTS

Fiji police have charged two men for having gay sex even though the country’s high court ruled last year laws prohibiting gay sex in private were unconstitutional.

365Gay.com reported the men were arrested near Fiji’s capital Suva.

Police reportedly caught the pair having sex in a private home. They were granted bail after briefly appearing in court.

The arrest comes almost a year after Australian tourist Thomas McCosker and Fijian man Dhirendra Nadan were briefly imprisoned for consensual gay sex in a case that outraged activists.

Fiji’s high court ruled their conviction was unconstitutional last August.

Hit the shower boys

A DUTCH multicultural group is organising a football tournament between gays and Muslims, hoping to counter a study which claimed there was a rising tide of fear among gays.

A nationwide survey by the Police Research Academy said that most gays questioned feel unsafe and reported experiencing verbal attacks in the last year. Of the 776 homosexuals who responded to an internet questionnaire, 80 per cent said they believed their safety was threatened at some time during the year, claimed academy director Frits Vlek, who commissioned the research.

Only 3 per cent said they were physically assaulted, Mr Vlek said in an interview, but 40 per cent claimed they had been insulted or verbally abused.

Youths from Moroccan and Turkish backgrounds were often blamed for the incidents, Mr Vlek said, since homosexuality is not widely accepted in many Muslim cultures.

Gay "Brady" kiss

"There is a kiss between me and Barry, but it's very quick." That's Brady boy Christopher Knight talking to TV Guide.com about his upcoming guest appearance on "That 70s Show." Knight and fellow Brady co-star Barry Williams (Greg) will play Josh and Jeff, a gay couple who live in the neighborhood.

"Barry and I had to come as a team and would be playing gay neighbors," Knight said of his gay " '70s" stint. "Josh and Jeff are very comfortable with who they are. Neither Barry nor myself were required to play 'gay,' which is not what you usually see from a character of this sexual orientation in a comedy."

You can tune into to watch the gay Brady kiss when the episode airs in May.

Czech Republic passes same sex unions

Chamber passes same-sex law
Prague- The Czech Republic joined the countries where homosexuals can conclude registered partnership as the Chamber of Deputies overrode President Vaclav Klaus's veto of the legislation.

The law on the unions of the people with the same sex was backed by 101 out of the 177 deputies present.

It was the fifth, successful, attempt at approving the controversial legislation.

Its opponents chiefly argued with the fear of the weakening of traditional family.

Its proponents are not afraid of this. They say there is no reason for a part of citizens not to have the same rights as the rest only because of a different sexual orientation.

President Vaclav Klaus is of the view that the law too much extends the state intervention in human lives. He said that it had nothing to do with the freedom of minorities as argued by Prime Minister Jiri Paroubek (Social Democrats, CSSD).

The debate on the law brought about another political dispute between Klaus and Paroubek. Paroubek made a great effort to have the legislation passed. He wanted all of his Social Democrats to back the legislation, which eventually did not happen.

Oil cheaper in Toronto

Because even being an oil baron is cheaper in Canada, the people at 20th Century Fox are at least considered shooting their big-screen version of Dallas in Toronto. For obvious reasons, the city of Dallas has some issues with this idea, and is both passing (as-yet unfunded) economic incentives for the production and wearing tshirts that read "Shoot JR in Texas." Not overly concerned about authenticity, Calgary ("East of here, we have prairies all over the place"), Louisiana, and Florida have also thrown their hats into the Dallas ring. The movie is due to start filming this fall - my money's on Toronto.
