The OJ sex tape
O.J. Simpson denies sex tape involvement
O.J. Simpson's attorney says the man on a sex tape who looks an awful lot like The Juice is "an impostor," according to the New York Daily News.
The video, which is selling online for $19.95 at BadOJ.com, captures a man bearing an uncanny resemblance to Simpson having cocktails in a hotel room with two women. Later in the 25-minute video, a man with Simpson's build is shown in a menage a trois, although his face isn't visible.
The tape, according to BadOJ.com's David Hans Schmidt of Phoenix, Ariz., has Simpson dishing out one-liners like "I'm a sexaholic!" and repeatedly singing the Straw Man's "If I Only Had a Brain."
"This tape is garbage," Simpson attorney Yale Galanter told the Daily News, "and we can prove it. O.J. wouldn't do anything like this."
Schmidt, meanwhile, has responded: "There's no question in my mind the real O.J. is having sex on this tape. ... People can make their own judgment."
In 2001, the tabloid magazine Globe reported that Simpson had arranged to make a sex video with two women, including a Playboy model, at the Mutiny Hotel in Miami, using hidden cameras. The Globe also printed photos of Simpson entering and leaving the hotel. Galanter has maintained all along that the Globe report was all a setup, and that Simpson, who is confirmed to have joined two women in a room at the Mutiny that night, had "hightailed it out of the room" after noticing a small hidden camera.
Schmidt could not confirm whether the video in question was filmed that night at the Mutiny Hotel, and Galanter said Simpson will go to court to block release of the tape.
