Could underwear have a silver lining

Bill McNally wants to put silver in skivvies, socks and workout clothes.
GI's already are wearing silver coated socks and T-shirts made with fiber from McNally's company.
McNally's Pennsylvania-based Noble Biomaterials
has doubled sales in the last 18 months.

McNally says the silver helps to kill odor-causing bacteria that can make sweaty duds stink. The silver can also act as a disinfectant if a soldier is shot while wearing the silver gear.

McNally, a Marine veteran, says he knew there had to be a better sock when his starting rotting off his feet in the jungle.

UNDERWEAR WITH A BOOST

Men, have you ever felt a little bit inadequate during a day out at the beach?

Well the product to give you a bit of confidence and reassurance has hit the stores. Wonderjock is the male equivalent of the female Wonderbra. It’s designed to give the illusion that a man is more endowed than he naturally is.

The product has brought the age-old debate of whether size really matters back to the forefront. Designed and manufactured by Australian underwear maker Aussiebum, the secret behind the Wonderjock is its use of ball extension support technology which is meant to push everything forwards.

The company says: “The design of the underwear separates and lifts while the fabric cup protrudes everything out in front instead of down towards the ground. It keeps everything positioned forward and proudly on display.”

The spokesman added: “This design uses all of the natural assets of the person, whether they are big, small or indifferent.”

Sean Ashby, founder of Aussiebum said the idea behind the ‘wonderjock’ came from online feedback from customers who expressed an interest in their genitalia looking bigger. “Men want to look bigger everywhere, including what is in their trousers,” he said.

But is this product something men would readily purchase? Frederick Djan agreed to test the product and said: “If your wearing them on their own then it makes a difference but with jeans you can’t notice the difference.”

Despite this he added: “It could attract the opposite sex, as it gives a good illusion.”

The line is available in British department store Selfridges and the range includes a patriot design with your choice of country and more designs are being released in the coming months.
