WARNING..... Sports can make you hard



Former US basketball star John Amaechi has become the first openly gay athlete to sign an endorsement deal with a mainstream company.

HeadBlade.Inc announced yesterday that they have signed the former centre for Cleveland, Orlando and Utah to endorse their popular head-shaving razor.



The Crew Bar and Grill in Chicago has been voted the city’s best sports bar by readers of AOL City Guide. The LGBT hotspot took top honors in the Best Sports Bars category of the City’s Best 2007 poll.
In a statement, Crew co-owner Brian Wells said that “[w]e’re immensely proud to have been chosen by the voters as not just the best gay sports bar in Chicago, but the best sports bar, period.” Co-owner Steve Milford added that “[t]his just demonstrates that great food and drinks; great customer service; and a fun atmosphere will make you popular with every audience.”



Copenhagen Begins Preparation for 2009 OutGames

From July 25 to August 1, 2009 Copenhagen will stage the competition with over 30 sporting events and participants from at least 100 different countries. Although the event was originated for the gay community, it is by no means exclusive, and people from all communities who support the spirit of the event are encouraged to participate.
